Spring Show at the Bath and West showground 2007
The first show of 2007, a first in the alpaca calendar, brought many accolades for the progeny of our males.

A show in March was a first for the British alpaca calendar and the South West Alpaca Group had performed their usual miracle in laying on a superb day for everyone. David Barnett was the BAS judge and there was a limit on the entries of only 120 alpacas which could have been filled twice over. Sadly those who were slow in getting their entries in were very disappointed in not being able to compete but nevertheless it was very well attended by many breeders from the south west and from further afield. The standard of alpacas was as high as you would expect to see in a much larger show.

Alpacas of Wessex were well represented, not only with their own two entries but also by many of their clients who brought with them the progeny of Wessex stud males, and they did very well in the show ring with two champions in the final line up for Supreme:
