It is always a great pleasure to hear of the success of our clients; none more so than when the client is showing their alpacas for the first time and in a foreign country.
Mme Marie-Geneviève Lion, who lives in a beautiful chateau in central France, has bought a number of alpacas from us in the past. She decided to take some of her very high quality herd to the German Alpaca Show being held in Ulm in April 2007 to see how they rated against a good range of animals, 150 in all, from around Germany. One of these was a lovely young female called Coya, 7 months of age and the daughter of Wessex Rural Alianza Wiracocha and Wessex Inca Star, herself a daughter of Windsong Valley Royal Inca of Western Australia.
Coya swept the board and gained Best in Show. A very satisfactory result and many congratulations to Marie-Geneviève.
